The big dig Commences Monday 5th

Well when I say it starts; it sort of did but very slowly - because of a serious accident near the moterway  the police closed lots of roads which left Bob the Paver waiting for all his helpers to arrive.
But as you can see below the digger got here and began to dig

this was the first truckload

 

By lunchtime we had dug out lots of stuff but we are short of trucks..

The really good news is that the Amazing  digger driver found our water pipe and we did n't break it..! 

Lots more to do tomorrow unfortunately the weather forecast is awful so we will have to cope with a bit of rain

more fun tomorrow have to get ready for national grid coming Wednesday
